Author Amity Gaige to Give Reading April 19

Amity Gaige is the author of four novels, “啊,我亲爱的,《365网站平台》,《365网站平台》和《365平台》.” She learned to sail to write “Sea Wife,” and figured out she is not a gifted sailor, so she will stick to writing about it. She will speak at Westminster April 19. 
 
She is the winner of a Fulbright 研究员hip and fellowships at the MacDowell and Yaddo colonies. In 2016, she was awarded a Guggenheim 研究员hip for fiction. Her novel “Schroder” has been translated into 18 languages, and was shortlisted for The Folio Prize in the U.K. in 2014 and for L’Express Reader’s Prize in France. “Schroder” was named one of the Best Books of 2013 by The New York Times Book Review, 华盛顿邮报》, 《365平台》, Kirkus和出版商周刊, 等.
 
The longtime visiting writer at Amherst College, she now teaches creative writing at Yale. 她的短篇小说, essays and book reviews have appeared in publications such as The New York Times, 《365网站平台》, 《365网站平台》, 《365网站平台》, 《365平台》, 板岩.com, One Story, Ploughshares and elsewhere.
